Delivery Costs All orders over the value of £250.00 are sent to mainland Britain carriage paid, orders under the value of £249.99 will incur a delivery charge of £8.50 per 10 kgs parcel. Orders outside the UK please contact us for a quote.
Cancellation of Order A consumer has the right to cancel the contract on the expiry of the seven working days beginning with the day after the consumer receives the goods. The notice of cancellation shall be sent to the suppliers Email address to arrive within the stated time period. In the event of cancellation the consumer shall return the goods in their original state to the suppliers address by first class post at the consumers cost. The contract period begins on the day the contract is concluded and ends on the expiry of seven working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. On cancellation of a contract the supplier shall reimburse any sum paid within 30 days beginning with the day on which the notice of cancellation was received.
Faulty Goods The buyer is responsible for reporting any damage goods to the courier at the time of delivery, or the buyer should via Email and within twenty four hours from receiving the goods report any damage to sales@gblighting.co.uk
Duty of Care The consumer shall at all times be treated as having a duty thoughout the period of the cancellation (a) to retain possession of the goods and (b) to take reasonable care of them.
Performance 1. Unless otherwise agreed, the supplier shall perform the contract within: (a) A maximum of 30 days beginning with the day after the day the consumer sends his/her order to the supplier.
2. Where the supplier is unable to perform the contract because the goods are not available within the 28 days or such other period as may be agreed the supplier shall (a) Inform the consumer and (b) Reimburse any sum paid in the relation to the contract as soon as posible and in any event within 28 days beginning with the day on which the period the performance expired.
The offer remains vaild for 28 days. The supplier conforms fully to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Returns Any returns must be notified within 7 days of receipt in writing by Email or Fax. Goods must be returned in their original condition and packing and must include all lamps supplied. Goods must be returned at the expense of the customer by registered means and with a copy of the original invoice enclosed. Goods that are a stock item will receive a full refund of the invoice value but less any delivery cost incurred. Goods, which have to be ordered in, are classed as "none stock items" and are subject to a 25% handling charge of the original invoice value before any discount and VAT. We reserve the right to claim or not refund the original carriage cost for goods returned.
Customers Customers receiving discount on lighting products will be defined as trade customers and not retail customers.
Privacy Policy GB Lighting are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not disclose information to any third party, and do not send any marketing materials to any customers who have ordered on line. The information that we collect about you and is that given by you at the time of placing your order is stored in accordance with the data protection act.
